I Vote Kittens

(PROTIP: Never search a local news site for the term "puppy." You will only find sadness.)

I guess I've been following my senatatorial race too closely, the most gripping political story is unfolding and I almost missed it! If you watched Obama's victory speech, you know that Obama promised his daughters a puppy. But what breed will they get? America wants to know!

Oprah on V-day

Watching Oprah is an occasional guilty pleasure for me. I usually can't watch a whole episode or I'll get choked up. And I don't watch it that often because people are usually around at 4pm and it's a little awkward to be a 21-year-old dude watching Oprah alone in pajamas. So when I do watch it, I just casually walk into the room, stand around a bit, and walk out as to not arise suspicion. But I thought this story today was endearing and thought I'd share it, because it is Valentine's Day. I especially liked the video of the actual proposal taking place. Cute!

Delicious Heartache

This pair of shirts is pretty adorable in the geekiest way imaginable. It's much better than this one my old roommate Rick bought. I am in much more of a situation to buy these. And these Adult Madlibs just sound enjoyable, as all Madlibs are. I never imagined there was a need for adult Madlibs because you could just use more sophisticated words, although I haven't played Madlibs since age 10 in Ms. Russo's class, so maybe I'm wrong...

Valentines

If I wasn't so alone, I would totally get these. Hell, I'm tempted even with no one to give them too.

And this product gives me more questions than answers.

It's called as Spiderman Mold Candle. I don't know what that is, well, that apparently. It is a molded candle or a mold for a candle? I am intrigued because I love to play with candles. I wonder if it has spider scents...

DOG LUPUS

I'm more of a cat person, but I'm watching this show on PBS and loving it. I especially like learning what behaviors are hard-wired into different breeds. Some of them look so ridiculous! Ridiculously cute!

NATURE . Dogs That Changed The World . Selective Breeding Problems | PBS
Immune system disease
In autoimmune disorders, an individual's immune system, which normally works to fight off foreign invaders, launches a misguided attack against its own tissues and cells. A number of inherited diseases compromising the immune system have been noted in dogs, including primary severe combined immunodeficiency (a dog version of the "bubble boy" disease) among Basset hounds, Cardigan Welsh Corgis, and Dachshunds. Addison's disease, an autoimmune disease that affects the hormone-producing adrenal glands, occurs more frequently among several particular breeds, including the Bearded Collie, Portuguese Water Dog, and Standard Poodles. Diabetes mellitus, an autoimmune disorder affecting the body's response to sugars, shows up more frequently among Samoyeds and Australian Terrier dogs.

McDreamy

I don't care for McAnatomy (shark jump!), but this is adorable:

Fairy Tale movies are my guilty pleasure.
